So to get to 51% of the electorate the Republicans are going to have to pull some votes from previously offended demographics.
the greatest part of yesterdays episode. now wheres the womens part?
And that about sums it up.
JESSICA WILLIAMS IS EVERYTHING AND IF YOU DON’T LOVE HER YOU’RE WRONG.
Jessica Williams is one of my favorite people ever.
It reminds me of that famous Margaret Atwood quote: “Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.” It also reminds me of something written by one of the mods of Sex Worker Problems: “Misandry irritates. Misogyny kills.”
I mean, it’s just true.

6 Scary Conclusions in the UN’s New Climate Report: http://www.motherjones.com/blue-marble/2013/09/ipcc-climate-report-scary-conclusions
A brief description using some familiar characters about how no one is ever, ever “asking for it”.
SO GOODTHANK YOU
Fun fact! While Mother Teresa devoted her life to “aiding” the poor and sick, the level of care she administered to those people was at best, substandard. She wasn’t actually as nice as she seems. “At the time of her death, Mother Teresa had opened 517 missions welcoming the poor and sick in more than 100 countries. But these missions have been described as ‘homes for the dying’ by doctors visiting several of these establishments in Calcutta. Doctors observed a significant lack of hygiene, even unfit conditions, as well as a shortage of actual care, inadequate food, and no painkillers. But the authors say the problem is not a lack of money, as the foundation created by Mother Teresa has raised hundred of millions of pounds.”(http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2287427)
Mother Teresa, it seemed, intentionally aided the suffering of the people to bring them closer to God. She has been quoted as saying “I think it is very beautiful for the poor to accept their lot, to share it with the passion of Christ. I think the world is being much helped by the suffering of the poor people.” Teresa considered converting the sick and the poor to be a higher priority than providing for their actual needs, and believed that human suffering was beneficial and even “beautiful”. (I guess that only applies to people already living, huh? Gotta save tehhh babbbiieezzz and all).
What does this have to do with abortion? She spoke of violence centered around non sentient human beings while simultaneously completely screwing over the sentient beings she is praised for helping. So excuse me if I don’t take Mother Teresa’s words seriously (or don’t excuse me, I don’t really care). I see her as nothing more than a hypocrite…and anyway, I don’t care if you’re Gandhi (who was also a shitty person, by the way…borderline pedophile) or Mother Teresa…your say has no relevance to my bodily autonomy, shitty character not withstanding. -Alyssa
A lot of that money she got was also stolen (and when revealed the money was stolen she revealed she knew it was taken and refused to give it back), as well as donations from the corrupt Duvalier family (so blood money), whom she openly praised.
Seriously, this woman was about as close to a supervillain as a nun could get.And for anyone unfamiliar with the Duvalier family, Jean-Claude Duvalier was the president of Haiti for a decade and a half and profited greatly from the drug trade, even going as far as to sell dead body parts of Haitians to maitain his wealth. She was pretty tight with them and refused to give that money back to the Haitian people it was stolen from. So yea. Quite fucking merciful indeed, huh? -Alyssa
GOT MY BUMPER STICKERS
This is so incredibly ignorant that it’s making my head hurt. When people say, “Guns don’t kill people,” they are not saying, “A gun and bullets can’t be used to kill someone,” and you know it. A gun, by itself, cannot kill someone. It doesn’t matter what side of the the debate you’re on. A gun, by itself, cannot kill someone. The problem has always, always been people. If you put the blame on an inanimate object, you are saying that people don’t need to take responsibility for their actions.
I hate to repeat a tired cliche, but if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns. Or people will find other ways of murdering each other. This shouldn’t even be a political argument, it’s not about our Second Amendment rights; it’s about being able to defend yourself. Let’s say gun control is fully instated, or it’s made illegal to own a gun. One day, you’re walking home, and someone with a gun pulls you into an alley, threatening your life for whatever it is they want. If you point at them and say, “Hey, having that gun is illegal!” do you think they’ll apologize profusely, turn themselves in, and allow you to go on your merry way?
However, if any average person on the street has a gun, do you think muggers and thieves (or even an ill-intentioned average Joe) are going to be more motivated to make a target of someone? Probably not, since there’s a high chance that target will be well armed (like Chicago vs. Houston, if you look at the first article below).
I’m sorry to turn this into a rant, I don’t do this (very) often. Just read the first paragraph, that’s really all I meant to say.
Someone has completely missed the point.
Is that you, Steve Carlsburg?
Oh yes, because owning a gun is your “duty as an american”, isn’t it?
United States, the greatest gun producer.
"Buy a pink rifle to your daughter, teach kids how guns are awesome and cool. Give guns TO CHILDREN." But when they murder each other, blame video games or Marlin Manson. Not the whole gun propaganda nor the president sending more soldiers to kill muslims.
Buy a car, win a gun! Open a bank account in our bank and win a gun! Buy our guns! Guns are cool! Guns are awesome! Having a gun means power! Owning guns will solve crime!
Cut the fucking bullshit about your fucking guns I’m sick of USA and its freaking guns everywhere and you telling me that all this “gun is for protection we have to have it”.
IT JUST KEEPS HAPPENING
